Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford was slammed after their 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
Rashford was easily beaten by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the wing in the build up toArsenal's late goal and Redknapp was unimpressed by his defending.
The former Liverpool midfielder said on Sky Sports: "I'm a big fan of Marcus Rashford but I don't think he does well enough at all.
"When the manager entrusts you to play in a left-hand side role, whether you're a centre forward or not you've got to do better.
"First of all he doesn't get out to Chamberlain quick enough. He lets him run at him and pick up pace. That is the wrong body shape, he gets beaten miles too easy.
"When you're hanging on for dear life to win a game, I think that's poor play."
Redknapp added: "I think Marcus Rashforddidn't do enough and I'll be amazed if [Mourinho's] not telling him that in the dressing room."
